uw, I remember hearing somewhere that the Israelis, who originally used women in combat (in 48 they needed everybody), changed their minds about it, not because the women couldn't perform, but because the men suffered high losses trying to protect and rescue them.

Hello Unclewest Where would I be wrong in my thought process? As I understand it we are in a long war on terrorism If all our men and woman were home these killer would be killing here. So we train our volunteer military men and woman to fight and kill if need be. They are sent to Iraq to liberate the Iraqis and become a magnet to draw as many terrorist as we can to Iraq. What better men and woman to do the job. Who at home would have the training to do this job? I believe some of these killer were not in Iraq the would be here. And how many of own men and woman in uniform have been slaughtered buy these killer in the year past when we were supposedly at peace My hearth goes out to all of them God bless them all. thank you for your service to our country Ron
