Picture shows Republicans laughing and slapping each other on the back. You know that's because they are going to make a bundle themselves on this new legislation. crooks! Look at the pictures -- always a good indication of the level of criminality. If the Washington pols are laughing, its like the laugh of Attila plundering a new town. Look at gentle constarnation of sheeplike Dems objecting to the latest vicious insults from Repubs, who show up at news conferences like a pack of snarling wolves getting ready for a kill. Their chief talent is the ability for straight-faced lying among themselves and to the cameras. Since they know they can throw the election through control of vote-counting, they don't even care about the appearance of propriety even to troops (cut funds for hospitals, increase funds for cemeteries), or those POWs from the last Gulf war who were tortured, and successfully sued for compensation out of frozen Saddam Hussein funds. The White House saw those millions and made an executive decision to take them away from the tortured POWs. White House spokesman neo-Fleischer McClellan had no answer, and robotically repeated 6 times in a row, "nothing can compensate" for their torture and injuries, in answer to questions as to why the WH was preventing their getting any funds. Amazing. Avarice knows no limits, and the press apparently knows no way to inform Americans of these vicious predators who've hijacked our country and will eviscerate even tortured POWs to make a profit.
