Pete,

Roe v wade will be a non issue anyway in short order -- because of progress in contraception and sexual education.

Unwanted pregnancies (as a % of the populate) has been drastically reduced in the USA. The rate of teen pregnancies has slowed and is now starting to turn down in many states. Abortion had been climbing -- and has flattened/now dropping.

Don't panic -- abortion will be as rare as polio in a matter of a couple/three decades.

Q: What country has the highest level of teen/unwed pregnancies in the literate/industrialized world?

A: Ireland -- because contraception & abortion are illegal, although they've just legalized contraception a few years back. In addition it is about 90% Catholic -- which explains laws in the first place.

By 2031, world and U.S. overpopulation may reach the point...

where population control -- i.e. limits on family size -- is mandatory.
