Loan Refinance - thanks for this discussion!

Thanks to all who mentioned the refinance of a Wells Fargo Home Loan.

After reading this discussion, I went online and applied for their "Three-Step" refinance, and what was mentioned here was correct.

From their FAQ list: "Q. This program sounds too good to be true. Is there a catch? A. It's good. It's true. And there is no catch."

There are no charges to refinance, and no points paid...just a lower monthly payment, and a lower interest rate on the exact same balance of the loan. On my current monthly mortgage statement there is *no mention* of this refinance plan....so thanks again for this discussion, because otherwise I wouldn't have known of the existence of this program!
