here are dirty tricks done by kerry-boy:
Instead the campaign stayed on the defensive, attacking Dean's TV ads as negative, forwarding e-mails from other major organizations that were critical of Dean. "It was all reactive," says the staffer who was looking for a strategy.

Over drinks, young Kerry volunteers bemoaned what Dean had that they didn't. One young volunteer rigged up a computer image that had an image of the baseball bat Dean uses on his Web site to track contributions. Every time Dean would go up in the polls, her computer screen would show the bat bonking Dean on the head. "By the end I was doing it a lot," she says, out of frustration with Kerry more than Dean.
...
At some point an aide whispers that it's time to go. Kerry spots Calegari motioning him over to a young couple at the bar who want to ask him a question. The aide looks visibly chagrined and points to his watch. What was billed as a "drive-by retail" has now taken up more than an hour, and the candidate has a plane back to Washington to catch. Kerry goes over to the young couple anyway, leaving the aide truly stressed now. Whether his distress is real or part of the act is anyone's guess.
