Indeed, also the same CIA that claimed that there was no attempt by Niger to sell yellow cake to Iraq. But you should know, that after the fall of Saddam's government, journalists went into unguarded buildings of the Iraqi Secret Police and found documents that also confirmed a working relationship between Iraq and al Qaeda.

Further, I have read recent news reports, that when interviewed, Iraqi divisional commanders, stated that they didn't have WMDs, but that iraqi commanders on their flanks did - meaning even Iraqi combat commanders thought they had the weapons deployed.
