If we can build consensus among our allies maybe there is still something wrong with our leaders logic. If we can not maybe there is nothing wrong with the logic.

Logic is not something that can be played with as easily as your statements above suggest.

What are you talking about? I wasn't saying or suggesting anything about playing with logic. The only thing I was suggesting about logic is that it is not a popularity contest. If you are asking the questions - "Is out leaders logic sound?" and "Do our allies support our actions?, you can get four posibilities.

1 - Logic sound, actions supported by allies
2 - Logic unsound actions supported by allies
3 - Logic sound, actions not supported by allies
and 4 - Logic unsound, actions not supported by allies

The agreement or disagreement of the rest of the world is something that can reasonably be considered but it doesn't change the logic of or the morality of our actions in Iraq.

Furthermore, the allies in question have considerably more experience with the ME than we do. Their histories are much more intertwined.

The government of the western European country who's history is most intertwined with the ME supported military action to remove Saddam from power.
