Odd indeed. I guess it's a lot to expect for Donaldson to bust his peers. You're right about the regulatory bodies running protection for the industries they are supposed to be overseeing. It's bizaro world out there at the moment. It really doesn't help the US credibility regarding foreign policy when its financial markets continue to be unpoliced and rife with corruption. The world is watching what is unfolding on Wall Street. Let's hope Spitzer doesn't get his wings clipped. That Putnam settlement was something else.
