If Clinton was willing to lie about small issues, how could we trust him on the big issues? Do we want a President, the most powerful man in the world, who doesn't have the strength of character to tell the truth? Clinton proved his character when he let loose over 100 criminals in his last day of office. He didn't have the courage or moral fortitude to free those felons while he was still in office. So, Clinton was a proven liar, and a coward. You wrote:<font color=blue>"Now, we've got a President who lies routinely."<font color=black> This is one of the other main differences between supporters of Bush and supporters of Clinton. Just as Democrats excuse the "proven" lies of their leaders, Democrats are willing to lie about Bush. I would be embarrassed to be a Democrat right now. I used to be a Democrat, but I switched parties. Calling Bush a liar without proof is character assassination, a lie in itself, and is totally dishonest. Dishonesty is the measure of today's Democrat Party. You wrote:<font color=blue>"The Supreme Court, by fiat, ended the election count in complete contravention to the provisions of the U.S. Constitution."<font color=black> This is another difference between thinking men and women, aka: Republicans, and those that are thinking impaired, Democrats. The Supreme Court realized that the never-ending 2000 election conflict was a threat to the stability and strength of our nation. The recount would have taken forever to be resolved. So, the Supreme Court wisely decided that the American people had spoken, and that the results would stand as is. Thank God for that, huh! If Gore had been in office, there would have been many more 9/11 attacks against our country, IMHO. Gore would not have had the vision, or courage, to act quickly, forcefully and preemptively, like Bush did. So........ let's be thankful that we can have a great leader like Bush for five more years!
