DR, re: I believe it is clear that private enterprise can do most jobs more effectively and for less money that government can. Intuitively I agree with you. But it doesn't seem to be working out that way, on any government level. Government employee's work cheaper (though they get great benefits). The government doesn't have to report a profit, they don't have to answer to shareholders. Two significant advantages. And the proof is in Texas, Florida and the federal deficit. Go figure. John
