Bush's decision to invade Afghanistan, and his decision to invade Iraq were the correct decisions. From all the evidence, the US and the United Nations felt that Iraq posed a substantial threat, not only to the United States, but to the world.

The UN was determined to do an intensive inspection of Iraq's WMD programs. Saddam was not cooperating, and was deliberately sabotaging the WMD inspection program.

As long as those WMD are not found, the threat of them being used hangs over all of America.
