Louisiana, yes the first woman governor, a democrat was elected in a close race in LA famulus.msnbc.com The truth is that the republican in this case, an indian guy with an academic background also would have made a great governor and if we weren't in this mess with the current Bush regime, I probably would have supported Bobby Jindal. But he has a bright future in politics imho, he is only 32 and the race was close.
