CC,

Alas, I wish it were true that Blair is done for. He richly deserves a jail cell for his criminal activities in leading the UK into an unjust war.

However, I've seen the vote tallies, and Blair still has very solid control of the Labor Party apparatus. The Liberal-Dems made minor gains against labor in a north suburban district of Greater London recently, but it was more of a nick than a cut to the Labor majority. And the Tories remain in a state of permanent post-Thatcher disarray.

So, Britain, and by extension, the rest of us, are stuck with Tony Blair. If he called elections for next year, he'd be the odds on favorite. It's a really sh!tty world when everyone knows he's a liar and a scoundrel, and there's little that can be done to eject the bastard.
