While we so fervently debate the validity of a link between Iraq and Al Qaeda, let me point out the obvious points of fact that those who find them inconvenient, pretend to ignore:

There is no debate on the links between Al Qaeda and Saudi Arabia, why do we ignore that country in our "war on terror?"

There is no debate on the links between Al Qaeda and Afghanistan, why do we (virtually) ignore that country?

Why the focus on Iraq when there are so many larger targets, if the goal is Al Qaeda and our "war on terror?"

And while I'm at it, let me ask this; if the goal is weapons of mass destruction, why are we ignoring North Korea, an avowed possessor of said weapons?

Could it be that Iraq is just the first in a series of conquests?
