Does Liberal mean Libertarian or potatoe-classic-vulgar-neo-etc Liberal in Canada??

Well, in Canada, spelled with a big "L", it means "of the Liberal Party of Canada". The Liberals are a left-wing authoritarian party, although it has become a bit less left-wing and more authoritarian over the last decade.

I have no idea what you mean by "potatoe-classic-vulgar-neo-etc" unless you are referring to a certain U.S. Democrat that spells in ancient English. He certainly wasn't a classical liberal. Again, the connection between your definitions and the context of Canadian politics escapes me.

As for Ayn Rand (my favorite mentally disturbed heroine), she was also not a classical liberal, although she shared a disdain for government. Thanks for the Anio tidbit. I didn't know that.
