Lorne, Al-Qaeda continues to be a threat. Bush thinks that Saddam is a bigger threat than Osama. So halfway through the Afghanistan operations, he turns his attention to Iraq, thereby giving Taliban and Al-Qaeda time to regroup.

Lorne, you have viewed the terrorists as a Islamic phenomenon. If so then why have we started to see the latest spate of bombings against Muslim societies such as in Iraq and Turkey.

Lorne, the US, in deference to the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, postponed the start of the Afghan war last year. You would think that the Al-Qaeda, if they are truly Muslims, would not conduct a spate of bombings as they have done during Ramadan this year. If so, then do you still hold onto your view that Al-Qaeda is a Muslim phenomenon?
