Japan has a lot of stocks like that.
I cant monitor them. I was shocked to see it at the time - a new 5 year high in a motor stock.
Compare and contrast with GM and Ford.

The catch is all the non-international companies are a disaster - banks, construction etc. They have not had competition to force them to change, just pork belly projects and a rigged yield curve.

Nikkei225 is price-weighted so it is a bit of a scam.
Great for manipulating!
Nikkei300 is cap-weighted and there are futures but not that liquid.

Still N225 just above 10K as I write.
