We saw it last night, and totally agree. There were only 5 or 6 seats left in the 7 PM showing here... Gads...what is Hollywood going to think.......No terrible language, no 'f' word every other sentence, no gratuitous sex.....what is the world coming to? Looks like Disney and Miramax need a lesson or two....Their new Santa movie has all of the above, I understand.

I'm going to see Master and Commander next week. Can't wait. I'm a big fan of the books. But I'm a big fan of Tolkien too, and this year the last installment of Lord of the Rings comes out (in case you've been living under a rock in Waikiki and didn't notice), and the Academy owes Peter Jackson big for not giving him the award for the previous two installments, which were great. So Master and Commander will have plenty of competition for the big awards. Are they really going to give Russell Crowe a third Best Actor award?
