Uranium from Africa, now that was a whopper...> wais.stanford.edu And of course, Colin Powell stating that Iraq had sought to import yellowcake uranium from Niger. fair.org I guess the thinking was that if you tell the same fib enough times and by different people at seperate venues it will become fact??

I only have a few minutes this AM so here's a quick list off the top of my head-- WMD drone program NUKULAR program missile tubes imminent threat uranium 9/11 Atta & Prague Bin Laden & Saddam statue toppling Mission Accomplished sign Jessica Lynch (I wont even begin to go into the supposed massive coalition supporters, who's going to pay the bill, length of war, etc..) Can I prove these were outright lies? Of course not. Politicians, particularly the president like to make sure they are in a position of deniability. However, since shrub is the president, the BUCK STOPS THERE. He is ultimately responsible. His inability to step up to the plate is a major credibility issue. Instead he spews forth nothing but rhetorical garbage over and over when questioned. (ya know what George, Iraq had schools, electricity and water before the war too!!) It's amazing how those first few items in that list came out of his mouth prior to the war dozens of times a day. However, on a side note, I feel he is actually too dumb to run much of what's going on and is more of a puppet for the neocon goons behind the scenes. But he's at the top so the blame will reside there.
