There is profit in any business and drug business is no different. In business, risk and rewards are highly correlated and again the drug business is no different. These two facts together mean that legalization of drugs reduces both the risks and the profits to a level that they no longer constitute a fast get rich scheme and will therefore be unattractive to the demanding life styles of career criminals and career terrorists.

On top of all this, legal businesses can be regulated while there is no control over the illegal ones. So I am willing to bet the legalization of brothels will go a long way towards reducing both the SDT rate and the child prostitution...Holand is an example of how these can be done...and we should be able to improve upon that <g>.
