There are no legitimate biomedical innovations that require silver. There are many applications promulgated by charlatans and witch doctors. Considering the New Economy and caliber of our Federal Reserve Board I'm sure we'll need lots of silver. Thanks for helping me clear up my foggy thinking :-)

Sounds like the Chinese are buying larger and larger amounts of copper.

Anecdotal evidence of metals value: a discarded air conditioner that I had put on my curb a few days ago that was obviously broken and unusable (and missing its knobs and grills)disappeared within about two hours.
