You consistently minimize, excuse, deny, any terrorist acts committed by U.S. armed forces or our allies. I am minimalizing NOTHING.. War is brutal.. I fully acknowledge that American soldiers are just as capable of committing brutal acts as any other army.. Hell, some of the people I served with would have likely been prone to commit some of these atrocities. And if you hadn't forgotten, we currently have 3 marines on trial right now for allegedly killing an Iraqi prisoner. At the same time, you have "zero tolerance" towards equivalent acts committed by America's enemies. Zero tolerance when we have clear evidence of deliberate intent to kill civilians with "exploding children". That's for sure.. But I never equated the attack upon the Pentagon with the attack on the WTC. The Pentagon is a legimate military target, while the WTC was not. But you know something... we bombed/burned entire cities to the ground because it was our belief that their civilian population was supporting and facilitating their country's war effort. So sometimes, during total war, we do see such acts of strategic terror, in order to evoke a surrender. All of those nuances are part of that fallacious oxymoron we call "legitimate war" and for others to decide. What I clearly believe is beyond the pale in ANY civilized society, is to recruit, train, and employ children as weapons of war. It's just incredible that you would believe that using children as suicide bombers is a legitimate practice of war. Anything adults do to one another, including innocent individuals, young and old, are for the legal eagles to prosecute and convict on. Because adults are supposed to have some semblance of the meaning of right and wrong. But children don't. They just do what they believe will impress their adult "role models". The result will be that instead of a relatively short brutal war between adults, you have children carrying on the hate through an extra generation. I mean.. Geezus.. you're just sick to think using children as weapons is legitimate.. Just plain sick.. Hawk
