The only way to reform campaign finance is to make political advertising illegal. Make politicians get up on the stump and spill their guts. Televise the stumping in equal bits on CSPAN and PBS.

Give em all the free speech they wish to beller out. But no hollywood slickster ads, no more Willie Hortons. If a candidate wants to get dirty he's got to do it with his own lips.

Oh yeah candidates can stump all they want around the country, on any stage they can find.

That would do it.
