You are right about the news reporting but I wonder where the PR is on the militarys side of things. Perhaps they concentrate on largely bogus stories like jessica lynch and not enough on the accomplishment side of the ledger.
BTW, most of the talking head stuff on sunday had to do whether iraqification is a politically inspired exit strategy or just a change of direction based on changing circumstances on the ground. Me thinks it could end up being either depending on what transpires over the next few months. Getting saddam would be a good first step.
In either case, does anyone think this admin has thought at all about kurdish/shiite option if things go bad in the triangle. Federalism wont fly if baathists, terrorist and foreigner continue to rule the night in the Triangle.
No one talks about this and the press hasnt picked up on this question. Mike
