A moderate's lament.....

Since this is the moderate thread, this example of egregious partisan ignorance just jumped out and said "post me on MF!", LOL.

As long as politics is a process of demonizing "enemies" on the other side of the aisle, our political process will accomplish nothing, just perpetuate hatred.

So true. They want to bring back hyperinflation and ruin so many businesses! Creeps.

Then we have the vicious, exaggerated, hateful reply made up of equally absurd extremes:

Unless of course you prefer a society made up of rich and poor, white collar criminals in charge and almost nothing inbetween. That, my friend, is a third world country, not unlike Iraq. But you probably stand for one-party rule so you must admire Saddam's way of thinking.

Hate-talk radio succeeded - one-third of our electorate hates another one-third and vice versa. And the rest of us stuck in the middle just walk away in disgust in greater and greater numbers.

And the political press covers every punch and kick with breathless play by play and "deep" insight into who is getting kicked in the balls harder this week.

What crap.
