Tell me about it, Ray. I had a property in Bodega Bay that had an underground storage tank, unused since 1947. Though the site was rated non detect by the guys I had take the tank out, it still cost $60k for the subsequent "clean up". I don't expect you to sympathize with what it cost me, but half of that came from Sacramento, courtesy of California residents' tax dollars. In retrospect it's a funny story, but a nightmare at the time
