Sounds fine to me. Talking to a Jewish group, why not use it if you're part Jewish. Dean's married to a Jewish woman and raised his kids Jewish. I'm sure he uses that in front of Jewish groups. Kerry is Irish/Scottish/Austrian/Jewish/Catholic/Protestant FYI. But he still doesn't know much about his father's background. His grandfather committed suicide and never left clues as to where he'd come from. Maybe he was trying to hide the fact he was half or all jewish. Kerry doesn't date, he's married. He likes dark beer, maybe some wine, but is no big drinker. That story you refer to was from way back when he was single. Of course the Kerry-attacker didn't bother mentioning that when he wrote it. It almost got him fired. Many Kerry attackers have tried to find dirt on Kerry over the years including a friend of mine who worked for William Weld. He told me it doesn't exist. So the right-wing makes up lies like sayng he threw away his medals, looks French or claimed he was 100% Irish or whatever. It's all silly BS. The man is honest, clean, brilliant, right on the issues, a real war hero and has a top-notch record ever since high school. Of course he's human, but otherwise any candidate would gladly trade their background, character, accomplishments and qualifications to be president for Kerry's. Including Bush.
