The recession ended two years ago in November 2001. The recovery has not created enough jobs to get the unemployment rate below 6%. Now Wall Street has soured on the idea of a recovery.

Bush has done long term harm to the American economy. We have nothing to show for the additional Trillion dollars of debt he has laid on us.

Jake, We can't blame everything on Bush. That would make Alan Greenspan look like a good guy. <G> I'll tell you one thing, though, he knows how to survive. From conservative Republican Prez to moderate Republican Prez, to a moderate Democrat to a neocon Republican, and still in the same job. You would think at least one of those guys would have seen his job as a political plum for an economics hack or would want somebody who was trying to help America, not American bankers.
