Dont give me that lame "12 years" excuse. Saddam was not attacking us or endangering us during those years since the Gulf War ended. Maybe a few little pot-shots but nothing which in any way would justify a unilateral invasion.

Now we see why unilateralism is such a bad idea. If Bush had not been in such a rush we wouldn't have to pay through the nose and lose so many of our troops. Invading Iraq was the easy part but apparently no Bushie thought beyond the invasion. That's called piss poor management at the top.
And has it made the US more safe? Highly doubtful.
