Re Bears: They seem to awaken at the sight of Fed governors making the rounds on the rubber-chicken circuit.
Their senses become especially keen when they hear talk of imminent, robust job growth _ followed, of course, by 21,600 cuts at Verizon, which, by the way, is not one of those old-economy manufacturers everyone likes to poo-poo. And remember, this comes in the wake of a massive wave of bankruptcies in the sector.
Not a good sign for telco. Which means, ahem, a buying opp soon for patient investors.
Long term, my favorite sector is still biotech. Wouldn't touch them right now, though.
Those are my thoughts. And with me, you definitely get what you pay for. In other words, they're worthless.
