it was either a bill like this or open markets to allow US consumers to buy from Canadian pharmacies. You can be the drug industry backed this plan.

But this has got to go, US taxpayers should not be paying 3x worldwide competitive drug rates to keep the GOP donors happy.

As far as the "no new drugs will be developed" claim, what a bunch of BS. Something is wrong with a system that spends 2 billion dollars developing boutique drugs for obscure illnesses that cost 100K/year to deliver.
