GOP and Dem politicians are all we have to look at (or do you have some other entity in mind?) Which ones are you referring to?

look at who votes for policies which leave the borders wide open, and you'll find the usual GOP and Dem politicians

Any politician that ultimately wants to protect his position by basing his opinions on American government should advocate support for our immigration laws. The rhetoric is nice, but actions speak louder than words. I hope Arnie will protect those laws despite the backlash from special interests. TWT

The Libertarian Party's platform is equally bad concerning borders. Their position is the same Panglossian fantasy view embraced by the two major parties. Do nothing, and pretend everything will work out for the best.
