OK,,, Last post and I have to go. Generic drugs are always going to be around. The drugs you're complaining about are patented. Read the link about pharmaceuticals. It spells everything out. There will be no magical influx of cheap drugs from India. EVER. If they invent a blockbuster drugs they'll wanna be paid for it too. They still have to go through the FDA. They still have the same regulatory hurdles every other pharma has. That's why they make drugs and not Piere Cardin ties--they have the money to find and make the drugs. It ain't easy, despite what you may believe. If it were we wouldn't have cancer...get it? Generic drugs ARE produced abroad with cheap cheap labor, just like your clothes and your toaster oven. Generic drugs can only be produced if a drug is off patent. That's the way it works. You don't like it, well too bad. That's what patents are for. As far as healthcare costs, read the same post. It spells it out. It's not all prescription drugs. Don't be fooled, and follow the money. DemoCraps and Republicraps are all the same. The system is broke and nobody wants to fix it because it butters their bread. The alternatives are socialized medicine which would demolish one of the biggest plus sides to our economy. If you wanna complain about cheaper costs abroad, such is life and it ain't just that way with drugs. Trade is a two way street, and the pissant countries with no money are always gonna screw us out of a few bucks because we got all the money. It's the way it works.
