Eva--me neither:

can't be mad at T.C. or R. Friedland!
I made a load of money on Ivanhoe stocks!

...because an object of humor can't incite anger, for me. Friedland isn't funny or bad; he's just a promoter. Being obviously and hugely self-interested where IVN is concerned, Friedland can't hoodwink any alert, experienced investor on his own. He needs the blessing of purportedly objective and knowledgeable observers to bring as many investors as he has into his stock. Enter TC, followed by a herd. It would be nice to know if TC has gotten warrants or other special benefits from any Friedland company (i.e., more than the plane rides he's disclosed). I suspect the major benefit to TC in these plays is hearing things from RF that make TC confident enough to tout the stock and put his paying and free audience into it in time for big moves.

I sold my Ivanhoe Mines a few days just before it began to go vertical, thinking that a small gain was all I was going to get. Never bought back in. I'm now over that "chasing" issue with NSU and SGC, since I'm more convinced than I ever was with IVN (on a stage-comparison basis) that each has a rich deposit. Bishop continues giving each a strong recommendation. Now I just need some help from TC, working the true retail crowd.
