Ken Lay had NO class. He got out of Dodge before thousands of employees, whose pensions he gutted with his lies, tar and feathered him. Energy dereg was primarily invented by executives who wanted in on the stock option and windfall game, after being stuck in a staid but reliable cost plus industry for the past century. Why is it that we've still barely heard a peep about his case, while that known Democratic contributor Martha Stewart was quickly hung out to dry (my point being that they both should have been, not that she shouldn't have). Why, we wonder. Oh yeah, now I remember.
