Evil follows the power. Concentrated power is easier to manipulate then dispersed power. The democrats are in the vanguard of concentrating power. It is their central theme, the one goal that validates their existence. The republicans are in the rear guard pretending to resist but actually pushing.

There is NO place in the democrat party for anyone who would buck this trend. Republicans still grudgingly will accept folks like this but they are marginalized as extremists and ( ironically ) demonized.

I will vote for the most conservative candidate in any election, but I am under no illusions that I am accomplishing anything but delaying the inevitable.
