Isopatch may be missing out on one of the more interesting Natural Resources stories by not letting me post on his thread. The new energy bill offers seevral kinds of enouragement to the nuclear power industry, and Usec (symbol USU) is in the business of converting Russian warheads to reactor fuel.

Greatly undervalued because of fear and disdain of nuclear power, pays a 7.5% dividend. I already owned 3000 shares in my IRA and bought 2000 more yesterday. I know $37,000 is not a lot of money for many people on SI and it is by no means my largest position, either. But it's enough to make USU very important to me. I could imagine it doubling when the implications of the energy bill sink in--eapecially the call for a strategic reserve of reactor fuel.
