collapse of gold cartel is much more likely after the miners are finished covering their forward hedge books

as I read, they are about 40% done
and in a stall on buybacks in recent weeks

two forces hold gold down:
1. gold cartel bankers
2. gold miners who collude with the cartel (e.g. Barrick)

two forces counter them and push gold higher:
1. thousands of Lilliputians like us
2. the Chinese Central Bank (with their agents)

when the miners are out of the picture, the Chinese will crush the Gold Cartel whenever they feel like it
e.g. like a bug, at will,
with prejudice and vengeance

in fact, the event will mark the ReBirth of China
and its arrival on the Geopolitical World Stage
that will be the shot heard 'round the world
