Geez, if I remember correctly, even the writer of the unlinked piece got something wrong, i.e. "The day before Woolsey offered his assessment of the Iraq-al Qaeda memo, the Defense Department issued a statement that described the memo as "inaccurate." The statement did not, however, say which of the 50 contacts between Iraq and al Qaeda as detailed by the memo were false."

If I remember correctly, the DOD statement said reports that it had confirmed(via issuing memo) conclusions in the memo were "inaccurate." I don't have the link to DOD right now, but I'm feeling sure it did NOT suggest ANY of the "50 contacts between Iraq and al Qaeda" were false, at all. Instead it indicates that the information referenced within the memo is indeed the information they provided, with clearance from all involved, to the Senate Intelligence Committee.

Thom, Glad to see that the term "Inaccurate" about a report doesn't deter your idiot identification event cue balls. That's how you right wingnuts got caught on Yellowcake. Goodbye yellowcake road. <G>
