The truth & facts are malleable & relative to AS & most
liberal demos. From their POV, once a lie is told, a
blatant distortion made or some grand piece fo deceit is
uttered, it becomes their irrefutable fact & stone cold
reality. That is, of course, as long as the lie,
distortion or deceit promotes the demo's POV.

Sadly, Gore never really led in the polls for months before the election. It was actually a surprise he beat Bush in the popular vote. The markets and objective bettors put their money (or withdrew their money) based on a Bush victory.
