Not cloth!

The M20's had wood wings and tail and a metal fuselage. The later models were all metal, beginning in the early sixties, from memory. They were fast and economical but somewhat cramped inside.

Old airplanes ae very expensive now so there could be a good market. The USA has limited the product liability somewhat so Cessna is back building single engine planes again.

IMO Mooneys would sell well if built and sold competitively
