JF, The Christian right has the exact same goal. Are you saying all religious evangelism is wrong, or just the ones you don't believe in?

You know, I get sick and tired of you trying to make me out to be some sort of closed-minded crusader. You say I protest too much? I think you're trying to hang onto your secular view of the world a little too much, threatened by anyone who dares bring up religion, except in a "politically correct" manner.

In any case, did I say their religious evangelism is wrong? No. They're more than welcome to compete in the free marketplace of ideas. The only problem is that some of them feel shafted by that free marketplace and become resentful. What becomes their goal? To eliminate it and convert others the old fashioned way: with violence, brutality, and fear. And as long as you continue to ignore them or make light of their crimes, they will continue to gain momentum. Then you'll be left with no choice but to "contain" them, just like we're stuck "containing" North Korea and it's wicked regime.

Ten, if you fear other beliefs, it only makes them stronger. Accept them as a part of the fabric of life. It will only make you and your faith more real. It's the Christian way.

You mean it's the "politically correct" way. The "Christian Way" preaches a different sort of tolerance than the kind you preach.
