Just watched NH debate on TV, thank God without the three minor candidates. But still there are too many candidates. They're all MUCH better than Bush, but it's about beating him in the mot common sense way, not by imagining idealistic dreams, but dealing with the reality of the Bush corporate-(pseudo)military machine.

That is why though I admire all of them, we need a couple of tough guys, a couple of proven military heros. The Dem party will be making a big mistake if they choose anything less, because then the odds may be against us. Kerry-Clark or Clark-Kerry. Those are the guys who can beat Bush, because they can convince someone who would normally vote Republican to vote for ral heroism, not a bunch of military posing. All the other issues these candidates pretty much agree on. Each has their strengths and weaknesses. But I believe taking away Bush's pro-military vote is the key. That delivers you north Florida and a lot of other places Bush has been taking for granted. We dont need to win Minnesota we need to win Florida and one or two border states with strong patriotic traditions.

Also, I think for most Dems, the choice is very tough. Razor thin margins separate the major candidates any significant realisation will decide it. The most important one is, who can best beat Bush by taking away some of his base. BTW none of these men can do it alone, it takes a solid ticket and awesome team.
