It seems quite clear that his point is if their deaths result in a quicker end to the war by motivating American public opinion pressure, then it will have been worth it when compared with the additional lives that will have been saved.

That is EXACTLY the point.
Thank's for saying it in a far far less emotional way.
I believe I am entitled to that viewpoint and I do not see how or why it should be taken back.

I do not mind hearing Haim's opinion on this at all.
That other clown shows up out of the blue, and starts attacking me. Let's just say that Haim and I are probably not going to see eye to eye on this issue and I feel no ill will towards haim over it. That other clown did get me riled.
