where are you getting that from? Within US we have CA that put restrictions on prices and I object to that too. I object if someone is telling me that I have to pay for CA's health insurance via my higher bills. I object any price restrictions from Canada because just as long as manufacturing cost is lower than the price the drugs would be sold but I would have to pay r&d bill.

Rick: Here is the complaint. In the USA we do not have much in the way of control over drug prices. Thus the pharmaceuticals amortize the cost of finding and creating these WONDER drugs over OUR population. The other side (drug companies) maintain SOMEONE has got to pay for this research otherwise it wont happen. I am not taking sides here, just spelling out the facts as I see them. jdn
