Microwave weapons did not happen because WMD did not happen.

Actually, I don't believe we used "HERF" style weapons (the proper name for them is High Energy Radio Frequency, and also known as electro magnetic pulse EMP), because they are still experimental, and I think we want to save that particular weapon for a "rainy day".

No need to tip off other potential adversaries to our capabilities prematurely.

The basic use of them is to fry electronic components without harming people (unless perhaps you have a pacemaker).

Paul McGeough is a Marxist Socialist by Socialist European standards....I read enough of several links to know that is so. Compared to him, Howard Dean is a conservative here in the US.

Your link by McGeough said :"US exit may lead to Iraqi civil war", so I looked him up to see where he was coming from....The article by him I posted said "the US would use microwave weapons in Iraq"....

Guess that's two for two.........both wrong. I'm sure we can find more examples if you wish.
