Thanks Greg...one must conclude that MRV did not get the lions share of the VZ early contract. We might have some components in there somewhere, but who knows. One gathers that VZ thought it was cost effective to stay with the vendor with whom they started rather then change solutions and risk higher costs. Obviously there are other vendors who are starting their build outs. Indeed, perhaps one of the positives that one can take from this release is that the build outs are indeed beginning. Hopefully, MRV will benefit from the other projects. However, as someone mentioned to me today, the really important news was the joint agreement with Sun. Potentially huge amounts of business can come to MRV as a consequence of that affiliation, and the importance of the Sun/MRV alliance in the China markets(s) deserves more emphasis that might have been thus far noted. Just one person's opinion based upon fragments, and perhaps faulty inductive reasoning. m1
