That's exactly true..........unjust states do not survive; to whit, Saddam Hussein's.

Most states don't face a massive invasion from the US. I agree that unjust states won't last forever but neither will just states. Many times when an unjust state does fall it is replaced by another unjust state, either a new regime in the same country (like the communists replacing the Czars in Russia) or through conquest by another unjust state.

if it is the Arab states (and the Palestinian Administration under Arafat) are more unjust to Arabs then Israel is to Arabs.

Do you really believe the bilge you put out? Your comment above is ludicrous. Israel is withholding the freedom of Palestinians......how is that any different from any other tyrant?

My comment wasn't bilge. The Arab governments are more abusive to Arabs then Israel is. Saddam Hussein's Iraq is a particularly good example but not the only one. Syria's government is not much better. Saudi is hardly a beacon of freedom. Even countries like Egypt or Jordan treat those who dissent from or oppose the government harshly.

The standard is not high......its low.

Not compared to the standards maintained by most other nations, in particular those facing a serious terrorist problem, with frequent attacks. If the US was divided in to areas the size or population of Israel and each one of them experienced as many terrorist attacks as Israel, I'm not sure we wouldn't be less restrained in dealing with the issue then Israel has been.

you believe what you want to believe just like Sharon. His gov't will topple.....sooner rather than later.

Maybe it will. I wouldn't be too upset. I don't think Israel will be toppled soon but its quite possible that Sharon will be.
