I am a moderate too. If you think John Kerry was wrong to protest Nam you're not a moderate, you're a unapologetic right-winger. Anyone with a brain knows the war was a terrible tragic failed policy by then and that there was no hope of doing anything more than killing hundreds of thousands of more people, with no strategic purpose anymore. It would have literally been an endless war. That's the kind of war that brings down empires. And John's service and loss from that war are much more meaningful than any revisoinist history the right is slinging. BTW: I have high respect for honest conservatives, but this current Bush team is radical and dishonest.
