Besides the S+L debacle (another looting of the treasury) this was the biggest ever ripoff in US history but the Bushies have toitally covered it up and even supported it. Now this could be funny - can you describe this "debacle"? What happened, what and who caused it, and how was it resolved? Do you have any idea or is this just another "talking point" from the list of vague, unsubstantiated accusations of wrongdoing you any your loony friends came up with? PS: I think you're confused again. It was the Clintons who were involved in S&L shenanigans.

Now, two years later, you've come full cycle and are trying to pin it totally on Reagan. Here's the bi-partisan list of 28 co-sponsors of the bill, including some of the most liberal members of the House, INCLUDING NOW-SENATOR CHUCK SCHUMER (NY). thomas.loc.gov@@@P\|TOM:/bss/d097query.html\| Your pattern of practice, ASp, is that if you repeat a lie over and over again people will eventually believe it. The Bolsheviks and Nazis both used that propaganda approach. Neither has been treated well by history, ASp, and I suspect that you won't be, either.
